The White House continues to function even in the twilight of a Presidency which has been broadly average (at best) but at least retains the zeitgeist to push PFS. Broader health programme news too – another encouraging day in SIB-world.

 

Administration Nearly Doubles Number of “Pay for Success” Feasibility Studies

With the addition of 25 new Pay for Success feasibility studies across the country, the Federal government is significantly increasing its investment in PFS.

 

Mental Health Center of Denver Breaks Ground On 60-unit Apartment Building

On Monday, the Mental Health Center of Denver (MHCD) broke ground on a $10.6 million apartment building in southwest Denver that includes counseling and other services onsite. Sanderson Apartments’ 60 one-bedroom units will be open to the physically and mentally disabled as well as to homeless and low-income Denverites.

And after construction wraps in summer 2017, Denver’s Social Impact Bond Program will finance MHCD’s services at the 50,000-square-foot building on the corner of Federal Street and Iowa Avenue.
