Jewish Vocational Service (JVS) and Social Finance have received approximately $225,000 from the Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) as part of a federal effort powered by the Corporation for National and Community Service’s Social Innovation Fund to support proven approaches to addressing critical social issues. The funds will bring Massachusetts partners together around shared goals for improved adult basic education through the implementation of a Pay for Success project.

The Nonprofit Finance Fund announced $1 million in awards through its grant from the Social Innovation Fund’s Pay for Success Initiative. Social Finance won two awards: one with partner Jewish Vocational Services for the Massachusetts Adult Basic Education project, and another with the Tuscaloosa Research & Education Advancement Corporation for a project exploring services for veterans.
