Politics amidst the desire for the Massachusetts Governor elect to maintain SIBs while Cuyahoga county in Ohio adopts the SIB concept.

Meanwhile it’s time for us to concentrate on end of year issues and indeed celebrate the festive season.

Cuyahoga County announced 5-year, a $5 million program that uses a unique financing mechanism to tackle homelessness and help children in the foster care system. ideastream’s Sarah Jane Tribble explains how 135 local families will benefit from the project….

Eric Morse is the COO of the nonprofit FrontLine Service. His organization will work with homeless parents to find housing, apply for benefits and learn daily living skills before the children re-enter their lives.

The program uses Social Impact Bonds and is being promoted by the White House.
